Drama of the Week
In the evening of July 21, 2025, Ironmouse left Vshojo because the company owed her a large amount of money and they used her charity donations to pay off part of their debt. A few hours later, Kson confronted the JP CEO of Vshojo and quit live on air. All the companies talents then removed any mention of Vshojo from their Twitter profiles. It was then revealed that the company wasn't paying the artists they were commissioning. Michi Mochievee and Henya then uploaded videos saying they had left the company. Nyanners then aired a laundry list of grievances with the company, most notably that they owed her over $100,000. Silvervale then aired her grievances, saying that not only did she receive no support from the company when she was getting harassed for playing Hogwarts Legacy, but also that the CEO called her a disappointment and harmful to the brand. Mint Fantome also released a statement saying that the company never paid her for merch they helped her create and distribute. Then, on July 24, 2025, Vshojo officially announced that they were shutting down.
